What We Do

Knotting workshop and AGM - September 2014

trtying to figure out what to do.
After a scrumptious bring-and-share lunch we began our mini workshop led by Liz Houghton.  With the aid of various samples, handouts,  demos & smooth cord we all concentrated on learning the basic  techniques for making a knotted lanyard.  Liz was very patient in her teaching & we all succeeded; it left us wanting for more! Many thanks to Liz for making it great fun & achievable.

We had a fair turnout to our AGM in the morning.  Mel, chair, gave a brief resume of the last year, & Geraldine outlined an exciting programme of events for the forthcoming year.  We thanked Liz, now standing down, for her sterling work while on the committee.  We said a fond farewell to Jan, one of the longest-standing members of the group, & welcomed Chau as a new member.
